Laser tailor welding can achieve the connection of many types of materials, and laser tailor welding usually has many advantages unmatched by other welding processes, especially the welding of thin-plate alloy materials that are difficult to weld in the aerospace and automotive industries, such as aluminum alloys. And the structural parts are not deformed, the joint quality is high, and the reproducibility is good. Laser tailor welding has become a standard process in the automotive industry. For tailor welding of body panels, metal plates of different thicknesses and with different surface coatings can be welded together and then stamped. The panel structure thus produced can achieve a reasonable metal combination.

Equipment function:

The automatic thin-plate laser tailor welding production line can automatically complete the material conversion, feeding positioning, laser tailor welding, weld tracking, quality inspection, finished product bifurcation, sheet reversal, shallow pit processing, blanking palletizing and stacking area automatic selection. a series of automated production processes


Process flow:

The feeding rotary table rotates and feeds, and two pieces of material enter the working area at the same time. Two loading robots with end pickers at the end suck up the two pieces and place them on the centering clamping table. Automatic positioning, clamping, centering, butt welding of the two pieces while the laser head moves linearly along the weld. The lateral discharge device pulls out the welded steel plate, and the steel plate enters the blanking station, and the blanking robot completes the blanking, and is placed on the rotating rotary table and palletized.
